This week, the SpaceConnect Association filed FCC comments regarding draft recommendations for the World Radiocommunication Conference (WRC) Advisory Committee. In the filing, SpaceConnect urges the U.S. to support long-overdue modernization of outdated equivalent power flux-density (EPFD) limits at next year’s WRC. Doing so would provide NGSO operators with greater operational flexibility to expand connectivity, while maintaining effective protections for GSO satellite networks.
